Maybelline ColorSensational Rebel Bouquet (REB05) Lipstick Review

Hi guys,

Any makeup is not complete without a lipstick, And the right hint of lipstick can do wonders. The product that I will be reviewing today is Maybelline rebel bouquet Lipstick by colorsensational in the shade REB05.

Price :475 for 3.9 grams

My experience with the product:  

Maybelline colorsensational rebel bouquet lipstick has pretty nice packaging, Not very fancy but yes quite presentable. It comes in a rectangular shaped container.The cap is translucent and  bright orange. If you remove the cover there is a silver tube which contains the lipstick. The shade is mentioned at the bottom of the lipstick.

REB05 is tangy orange in shade. This is my first Maybelline colorsensational lipstick ever.I got this form a store called ''health and glow'.There they gave me the lipstick for 475,But you can also order this lipstick online and get for cheaper price. It is nicely pigmented and texture is quite creamy, glides on my lips like heaven. It does not give my lips very glossy effect or very matte effect but somewhere between matte to glossy.This lipstick is super hydrating, So I do not need to put any lip balm before applying this.

Maybelline colorsensational lipstick  has a very mild fruity fragrance which I really like. One more  thing that I like is the colour, cause this is very bold and bright colour and goes really well with my skin tone (Which is milky white).I have worn this lipstick at work , for parties and for lot of other occasion, And many people seem to like this colour a lot. This product tends to give brighter shade after you have used it for say four to five times.

If you are one of those girls who does not like to reapply lipstick all through the day then girls this lipstick is for you, because this lipstick really stays for about 7 to 8 hours and can even survive your breakfast and lunch. It’s also very easy to remove the lipstick with a makeup wipe or with a makeup remover.

One thing which I do not like about this product is that it’s a bit sticky and you can feel it on your lips. Also it transfers to whatever touches your lips, but the lipstick does not transfers completely.

 

Why I like this Product?

• Glides really easily on lips.
• Good pigmentation.
• Hydrates the lips.
• Lasts really long(Even after full meals).
• Doesn’t dry out the lips.
• Mild smell.

Why I do not like this Product?

• Feels a bit sticky on the lips
• Transfers a bit

Would I recommend it to others/Will I repurchase it?

Definitely yes, It is an awesome lipstick which makes me look very fresh and vibrant. I am totally in love with this product. My friends have also bought this lipstick and they seems to like it quite a lot. I will try on a different shade in this range may be REB07, Because I saw the swatch online and want to get my hands on that it. I will let you Know how it fared on my lips.
