Lakmé CC Complexion Care Cream Review

How are you all? Hope you are doing well and taking really good care of yourself. Today the product which I will be reviewing is a CC cream from Lakmé. Lakmé CC cream comes in two shades, One is beige(for fair complexion) and other one is bronze(for wheatish to dark complexion).I have oily skin with fair complexion, keep reading to know how this product worked on my skin.

Product Description:

Lakmé CC cream stands for Complexion Care cream. It is an all in one cream ,which has the goodness of your daily skin cream , gives you right touch of makeup for everyday perfect look in minutes. It protects your skin from sun damage as it has SPF 20 in it. It also moisturizes, brightens and even tones your skin and gives basic coverage.

Water, Cyclopentasiloxane, ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate, titanium dioxide, zinc oxide, niacinamide, glycerin, dimethicone crosspolymer, potassium chloride,PEG-10 Dimethicone, Dicaprylyl Carbonate,Magnesium sulphate, Triethoxycaprylylsilane, Disteardimonium Hectorite,Stearic acid, Palmitic Acid,Cholesterol,Bisabolol, Perfume, DMDC Hydantoin, Dimethicone,Sucrose Distearate,Allantoin,Tocopheryl Acetate,Disodium EDTA,Butylene Glycol,BHT,Iodopropynyl Butylcarbamate,Zingiber Officinale (Ginger) Root Extract,CI 77491,CI 77492,CI 77499.

My experience with the product :

The first thing which is very attractive about this product is its packaging, it looks super luxurious, sophisticated and classy, The colour chosen for both outer packaging and inner packaging is brilliant. The product comes in a tube and it smells so  divine that I really keep on smelling the product whenever I am applying it. The cream has a very nice texture, it's very light and velvety, blends very smoothly on my skin. I really like how my face instantly brightens up after applying this cream.

How I apply Lakmé cc cream..

I apply this cream with my sunscreen, By taking a pea size amount of the Lakmé cc cream at back of my hand and adding a pea size amount of sunscreen to it, then I blend both the creams well . I then dab it all over my face and pat it gently for first 1 minute and then  blend the product into my skin in circular motion. You can also use the foundation brush to apply this cream .It gives a light coverage which is good for everyday office look. I have little amount of dark circles, So instead of applying concealer daily beneath my eyes I use this cream .After that I apply my loose powder/ compact powder over it as have oily skin(People with dry skin can skip this step and add a little bit of moisturiser to this cream if needed). Then I wait for 5 minutes as this product takes 5 to 10 minutes to do the magic on my skin.

You must be wondering why I mix Lakmé cc cream with my sunscreen before applying. There are two reasons, First one is that this cream comes with only SF 20 and i need more SPF for daytime and the second reason is , I purchased the wrong shade, I have this cream in the bronze shade and being a fair skin toned girl it made my skin super dark. So when I mix it with my sunscreen, which is a tinted sunscreen, I get the right shade. I also purchased the beige shade and that was too light for my skin. So now what I do is I either combine it with my sunscreen or mix the both the shades (beige and bronze) of this cream, to get the right shade.

Not so happy with the product because of …

• only two shades are present

Would I recommend this product? Will I repurchase it?

Definitely yes, I already have 2 shades in it. And I love how my skin feels and looks after applying this product. At last I would like to say this product really does what it claims.
